Flying mounts allow players to avoid fighting their way through the enemies in the guard building. The dungeon entrance is located partway up the tower, where the bridge extends out to the wooden guard building. When accessing the dungeon version of Karazhan, players must enter through the side entrance, not the conventional raid entrance. In order to access the Return to Karazhan dungeon, players must complete an attunement quest that takes place in several Mythic dungeons. It is only available in Mythic difficulty there is no Mythic+ Keystone version of the dungeon. Karazhan is a Level 110 dungeon located in Deadwind Pass. You have to click/open the door in front of Khadgar to activate the timer. Thus, the Soul Fragment at Opera didn't give me Medivh's Echo.Įdit: Added some extra clarification. I got One Night in Karazhan and Smoldering Ember Wyrm. I got the buff Medivh's Echo after each one and was able to see Medivh to summon Nightbane. I proceeded to activate the Soul Fragments in the usual order (Opera > Maiden > Moroes > Spiders > Curator). On another character, I stealthed past Curator and all the mobs (non-stealth classes can pull Curator out to the next room where a robot is, to get him to despawn and kill any trash you pull) back to the original start with Khadgar. When you've got the first four shards from Opera, Maiden, Moroes and spiders, use the portal in the spider room and run back up the stairs to Curator for the last one. Open the doors near Khadgar to trigger the timer and then collect the shards as usual. When he casts it, look around the room for a cloud of small blue orbs swirling around and run into them to remove the debuff, then kill him and proceed.Įdit: If you're there for the Smoldering Ember Wyrm you can stealth or sneak past Curator, kill the Abstract Nullifier and run downstairs to the old starting point. Bonus Tip: For those who haven't done this route before, the first NPC you'll meet after Curator is an Abstract Nullifier who casts a 30-second silence every 29 seconds, making it permanent if you're going solo. So if you're there for Midnight's Eternal Reins you'll have to kill Curator and go down several flights of stairs to the old starting point, as if there wasn't already enough time wasted to begin with. This loot rule hasn't changed in Battle for Azeroth. But if you only have three players in your group and one is loot-locked, the chance drops to (3-1) x 20 = 40% that one eligible player will receive it. So, if you have 5 members in your party who are eligible for loot there's a 100% chance that the mount will drop for someone who doesn't already have it, and if only one member of a party of 5 doesn't have this mount then they're guaranteed it. Party members who already have the mount still add to the drop chance, though they cannot receive it again. Drop chance: Blizzard confirmed that the chance of this mount appearing is 20% multiplied by the number of players in your group that are eligible for loot (i.e. Notes: This mount drops from Nightbane in the Return to Karazhan dungeon. This mount is available to all eligible characters on your account.
